What Will You Do?

• Develop full knowledge of application information required to screen a prospective resident.
• Maintain exceptional standards of the leasing office, tour path, and model apartments.
• Review unit turns requirements with the supervisor prior to move-in.
• Complete final inspection of apartments before new move-ins and complete move-in paperwork with new residents as well as stay involved with move out procedures.
• Provide exceptional service to customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Answer and report all daily leasing traffic and phone calls.
• Coordinate the rent collection and maintain a report.
• Implement print, internet, and outreach marketing.
• Manage lead base via CRM software and complete guest cards.
• Generate daily reports for all property tours.
• Adhere to company approved attire.
• Manage all leasing paperwork by lease start-date.
• Meet or exceed leasing goals.
• Shop competitive properties.
• Assist with company-sponsored resident events.
• Implement Resident Retention plan.
• Promote and participate in Company-sponsored training programs and ensure the participation of all maintenance staff as required.
• Comply with all company's guides, policies, and procedures, including safety rules and regulations, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
• Demonstrate willingness and ability to perform all duties of a leasing consultant to the benefit of the property.
• Complete all training provided by the company with regards to accounting, fair housing, marketing, leasing, customer service, etc.
• Perform other duties are required.

What You Bring:

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others.
• Basic level knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management effectively and sensitively.
• Sensitivity to confidential matters.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to relay technical concerns with adequate detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Capability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English.
• Ability to use general office equipment, such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, and key track system.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
• Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity, and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.
