Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for the operation of the Administration Processing Unit which provides administrative support to the Department of Subways Divisions (Stations, Service Delivery, DCE, and MOW). This Manager will be required to ensure the unit is following the policies and procedures set forth to oversee Driver’s Licenses monitoring, Badge Management, NYCT Property issuance, collection, distribution, and tracking, distribution of Quarterly Expiring EPIC passes, Parking Permit Admin, processing newly hired employees, Daily Notice processing and distribution, and working in liaise with NYCT Professional Development, Training and Course Nomination Units.
The incumbent will also manage APU as it serves as DOS liaison to the following: Security Access Pass Unit, EMD (in coordination with telephone installations, service and repair requests for DOS divisions), Procurement Uniform Admin group (in monitoring compliance and issuance of employee uniforms) and assists with managing visitor data collection and monitoring Operations Support visitor management requirements. The manager is also responsible for reconciliation of monies collected and delivery of monies to Treasury and will work to maintain an efficient operation while providing outstanding customer service during all employee interactions.
Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and eight (8) years of full-time, professional experience with at least four (4) years managerial/supervisory experience; -OR-
A satisfactory equivalent of education and experience.
