The United Shore Professional Baseball League is seeking an experienced Manager of Human Resources and Administration to join our team working in the exciting sports industry. We are aligned with a PEO, so the Manager of Human Resources and Administration will be responsible for working with the PEO to oversee all aspects of the HR department, including employee recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance with employment labor laws, management of seasonal staff, payroll administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. The PEO provides much of the resources needed for the HR functions, so this position will function as the point person working with the PEO. From October through April, the company only has 25 to 30 employees, but from May through September, the company has hundreds of seasonal employees who work at Jimmy John's Field in Utica, MI during the baseball season. So, this position is much busier during from May through September than during the rest of the year.
