Leasing Administration Manager supervises a team of leasing administrators to ensure monthly rents are paid and all leasing activities are in accordance with policies and guidelines. Coordinates charges with landlords and works with senior management on occupancy decisions. Being a Leasing Administration Manager oversees completion of all necessary paperwork and ensures proper customer service. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Leasing Administration Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Leasing Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Leasing Administration Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. In this client facing role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining business and being the face of Ridgeline at Canton in Canton, Michigan! We are looking for someone with sales experience in leasing apartments as well as management experience. Think you’re a fit? Give us a shot, you won’t be disappointed!

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Management of leasing team
    • Setting occupancy goals for leasing team
    • Fielding general questions regarding rental units and property features
    • Answering phones, greeting potential clients and showing model apartments
    • Assisting potential clients in completing rental applications and lease agreements
    • Clerical duties as required

    Qualifications:

    • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
    • Candidates must have a valid drivers license
    • Candidates must be able to work on Saturdays
    • Excellent sales and marketing abilities are necessary
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required
    • Candidates must have leasing or property management experience
    • Candidates must have management experience
    • Property management software usage experience preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a must, at least a basic skill level, intermediate level preferred
