Position Summary:
The Administrative Services Manager is responsible for overall management of the administrative services for the College of Law at the Boise location, working with a counterpart in Moscow. The Manager serves as a principle contact for administrative concerns and college activity; ensures compliance with university, state, and federal regulations; provides analysis and reports used to track financial and academic resources and outcomes; helps to determine cost-effective methods of conducting business; is accountable for the allocation and management of resources and program results; manages the administration office and faculty assistants at the Boise location and assists at the Moscow location, as needed; advises faculty and staff on university policies and procedures; and participates in short and long-term planning efforts and implementation.
In the role of Assistant to the Deans, the Manager will function efficiently to coordinate the daily operations of the offices of the Dean and Associate Deans; participate in managerial decisions; provide expertise and support in major college initiatives; exercise good judgment; participate in problem solving and recommend and implement solutions; implement office and college policies; communicate effectively with administrators, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and outside constituents; schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and travel; provide high level project based administrative support; and handle highly sensitive, confidential information.
Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Three years experience within an administrative setting.
- Two years supervisory or management experience.
- Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, email software and centralized computer information systems.
- Experience processing financial transactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree OR a combination of education and experience equivalent to at least five years progressively responsible administrative experience.
- Experience with: Financial record keeping methods; planning and scheduling techniques for administrators; University of Idaho policies and procedures; Banner software applications.
