Lean Manufacturing Specialist, Sr. jobs in Dickinson, ND

Duties included:

• Manage a small team of employees responsible for maintenance, janitorial, and continuous improvement functions
• Manage/oversee environmental processes and reporting
• Participate and be an active member of the operation safety committee
• Assist with local IT/Hardware support
• Work alongside the Manufacturing Engineering objectives
• Lead and implement Continuous improvement, Lean, and Kaizen events to reach established goals and incentives in various Value Streams by following Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity.
• Develop processes that will reduce costs and increase efficiencies
• Develop processes that meet or exceed quality requirements
• Find ways to automate processes using robotics and other sources
• Develop relationships with subordinates that will result in a cohesive team that understands the company’s direction, goals, and vision

Tools Used: Microsoft Office Business Applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Rugby’s EPR, Nesting Software and PM system. Solid Works capability is preferred

Job Type: Full-time (Office area and production floor)

Physical Demands:

• Some light physical effort required
• Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility

Job Requirements:

• BS Manufacturing Engineer, BS Facility Maintenance/Management or 4 years related experience in a manufacturing facility
• Clear and precise oral and written communication skills are required
• Ability to embrace continuous improvement to question and evaluate systems/procedures for the most efficient uses and employee safety
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, 5S, Lean

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
