Lean Manufacturing Specialist jobs in West Virginia

The primary role is to produce high-quality headstones and memorials through sandblasting and manufacturing processes. No experience is needed, but preferred. On-the-job training provided. Individual must be detail-oriented and have an eye for visual art.

• Prepare stone for sandblasting, including cleaning and applying stencils.
• Inspect materials for defects and ensure they meet quality requirements before proceeding with sandblasting.
• Set up and operate sandblasting equipment. Follow instructions and guidelines for adjusting settings such as pressure, etc.
• Cutting, shaping, and polishing stone.
• Artfully frost and shape designs on headstones.
• Apply lithochrome to headstones.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities.
• Ability to work with precision and pay attention to detail to ensure high-quality results in sandblasting and other manufacturing tasks.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in operating sandblasting equipment, stone fabrication tools, and related machinery.
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with other team members to achieve production goals.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing setting, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for following instructions, reporting issues, interacting with team members and supervisors.

Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Reports to our plant location (1521 Hansford St. Charleston, WV 25311)
