Being a Lean Manufacturing Specialist employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Specialist also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Lean Manufacturing Specialist typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     JOB DESCRIPTION

    Automotive Service Advisor/Writer helps manage the center of communications for all repair activities and acts as a liaison between customers and the shop. Acting as the primary point-of-contact for all automotive service matters, he or she must thoroughly understand the customer's problems to set and manage expectations and provide world-class service.

    RESPONSIBILITIES - Include But Not Limited to:

    • Create Estimates on Estimator software
    • Answer Phone.
    • Send & Reply Emails.
    • Greed Customers and offer excellent customer service from intake to release of vehicle.
    • Communicate with customers to update repair status.
    • Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding services.
    • Clean & Maintain Work Area Clean
    • Communicate with technicians to obtain information to update customers
    • Order necessary parts from suppliers, double check that parts ordered are correct and delivered to Technicians.
    • Coordinate and schedule approved repairs
    • Ensure that Automotive work provided to customers meets company quality standards.
    • Invoice and collect payments from customers and fleet accounts.
    • Post, close and File invoices and paperwork
    • Pick up and drop off customers.
    • Pick up and deliver vehicles when needed.
    • Pick up parts from suppliers when needed.
    • Maintain and restock inventory

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Valid CA Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record Required.
    • Min 1 Year experience as Service Advisor Required.
    • ASE C1 certificate or equivalent required.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $36,000.00 per year
