    Join our Quality Control team as an Inspection Manager and work closely with our team, participate in our growth as an organization and continually learn and grow personally and professionally.

    Develop a complete QA program that not only safeguards the quality products, but also fosters a “quality culture”, in which all employees become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality throughout our manufacturing and administrative processes.

    Summary of essential job functions

    • Validates the quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures. Collaborates with other departments to develop these quality procedures, standards and specifications.
    • Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new products and engineering designs, manufacturing and training methods.
    • Manage all inspection activities, including the development of new inspection processes and equipment.
    • Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including but not limited to failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and revalidations. Applies statistical process control to manufacturing operations and equipment.
    • Develops process for managing supplier quality performance. Works with suppliers on root cause and corrective actions. Assesses customer requirements and ensure that these are met (either internal or external)
    • Trains, motivates, coaches, and manages employees to ensure that standards are met.
    • Supervises and guides inspectors, technicians and other staff.
    • Fosters cross-functional problem solving and cooperation.
    • Acts as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality.
    • Reviews technical publications, articles and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in industry.

    Minimum requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree with technical experience in the field
    • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience with inspection procedures in a manufacturing environment (Automotive and/or multi industry)
    • At least 3-5 years’ leadership managing people
    • Proven track record as a successful quality assurance manager or other relevant role with metrics to demonstrate results produced.
    • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational time management and leadership abilities.
    • Working knowledge of MS Office and databases.
    • Experience with statistical techniques and Six Sigma tools.

    Abilities required

    • Ability to inspect parts using precise inspection tools including calipers, CMM, Keyence, etc.
    • Ability to adapt to work effectively in an environment of change, uncertainty, and ambiguity; can make pragmatic decisions in a timely fashion, especially when there is not a clear “right way”.
    • Bias for action; great attention to detail with a drive to achieve results and goals in the short and long term.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
    • Stay up to date on new data technologies and trends.
    • Thorough knowledge and administration of quality assurance and standards ISO 9001-2015, TQM (TQA) TS16949 experience with Quality Management Systems.
