Auburn Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Manager, who will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of AMI’s Quality Management System in compliance with ISO requirements.
Requirements of the Quality Manager:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience with a quality management system in a manufacturing environment
· Education: BS in Textiles or Chemistry preferred
· Experience with textile manufacturing preferred
· Experience with military contracts preferred
· Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook Exchange required
· Strong organizational and leadership skills
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Ability to travel between 2 local facilities during the course of a day

Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:
· Maintains and continuously improves the Quality Management System Compliance with current ISO 9001 standards and any applicable government and customer-defined quality standards
· Ensures compliance by updating ISO policies, procedures, manuals, forms, work instructions and flow charts, and maintains document control procedures
· Serves as a resource on issues to production and customer services as it pertains to quality
· Maintains and controls Corrective Action Report (CAR) and Preventative Action Report ( PAR)
· Communicates with customers directly on complaints as needed, working with customer service
· Responsible for completion of AMI’s annual customer survey program in cooperation with customer service
· Functions as key contact for external ISO audits
· Prepares Quality Steering Committee (QSC) quarterly meeting agenda and presents data and metrics
· Prepares and issues Certificates of Compliance (C of C) for manufactured products to ensure customer quality requests are met
· Serves as Government Contract Coordinator
