Generate sales revenue and drive growth through Steelcase and non-aligned dealer partners and the influencer community in defined territory. Focus on relationship development and adding differentiated value to become a resource to key stakeholders. Leverage mid-market sales expertise in a highly competitive landscape to create preference for AMQ’s open plan solutions and seating.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with Sales Leader to develop and execute a territory market plan for growth.
Frequent travel to various dealer locations to influence AMQ product mix and wallet share when present.
Conduct Dealer Quarterly Business Reviews to analyze product mix and identify areas for growth.
Develop sales strategies and product applications with DSR (dealer sales representative), Sales Management and Design to assist dealer in winning opportunities.
Strategize and partner with the Steelcase/AMQ Regional Management and Steelcase/AMQ Sales Team to grow Steelcase/AMQ aligned dealership business opportunities.
Position the complete AMQ product portfolio, programs and services to increase profitability and margin with our dealers on small and large projects.
Leverage relationships to create preference for AMQ to drive day-to-day, transactional business.
Create and maintain an effective network with dealers, A&D and commercial real estate firms to identify more opportunities.
Focus on the customer experience while achieving AMQ business objectives.
Collaborate internally with sales support, design and customer service for a seamless order development process and post order follow up.
Provide training and product presentations to customers with confidence in various environments and geographical locations.
Utilize and maintain Salesforce (CRM) to manage sales funnel and provide accurate weekly forecasts.
Effectively leverage samples, mock-ups, and other product demos to pursue and close business.
Obtain knowledge of key competitors, the industry and leverage learnings in effective storytelling to differentiate AMQ in the marketplace.
Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Physical ability to lift - up to 40lbs of product for customer presentation.
Must have reliable transportation with capacity of transporting products such as chairs and training table/base for customer presentations.
Experience/Education:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
Demonstrated progressive experience, minimum of 5 years in the industry and the territory.
