The Business Development Manager - West Valley is responsible for the growth of our business through referrals, generating revenue by gaining new clients. The Business Development Manager will follow the process defined by our agency to accomplish our business development goals. We utilize a system of touches performed on a schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Identify and pursue potential clients through various channels, including networking events, industry associations, online platforms, and cold-calling.
Establish and nurture relationships with referral sources, including healthcare professionals, social workers, retirement communities, and other relevant entities.
Identify Top 10 referral resources
Identify referral source visits Top 11-30
Make in-person contact with minimum of 5 from Top 10 list and 10 from Top 30 list referral sources per week
In-service visits with communities and referral sources once per month
Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value of our services
Enter all activity for all leads and referral sources into CRM/WellSky and KPI spreadsheet prior to weekly business review meeting
Maintain knowledge of all Home Matters Caregiving policies, procedures and technology
Participate in quarterly company goal meetings
Conduct thorough assessments of potential clients' needs and preferences to propose personalized care plans
Collect signed agreement and payment options
Perform client and caregiver intros as needed
Participate in the monthly on-call rotation as needed
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
The essential qualities include, but are not limited to the following:
Flexible Schedule
Ability to pass required pre-employment assessments and criminal background test
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally, and in writing
Basic computer skills, including word processing and email use
Prior experience in the home care field, either in-home care or home health
Experience with senior population
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Knowledge of in-home care rules and regulations
