Lead Construction Representative jobs in Washington

Woodhaven Construction is hiring a lead framer for upcoming San Juan county projects.

Applicants from surrounding areas (i.e. Anacortes, Mt Vernon, Everett, or Bellingham) are welcome to apply. Candidates commuting from outside San Juan County will be offered a travel assistance package.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Applicants will be responsible for the layout, calculations, installation of framing.
• Oversight of experienced and junior carpenters
• Quality control
• Lift heavy loads regularly.
• Wear tool bags and PPE constantly.
• Able to transport yourself to work on time throughout San Juan County. (employer travel assistance package included)
• Able to smile and maintain a positive attitude through adverse conditions.
• The ability to work 4 - 10hr shifts with a 3-day weekend

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 3 years experience working in rough carpentry.
• Ability to delegate and manage crews with kindness, professionalism and efficiency.
• Read and communicate feet, inches and fractions from a tape measure.
• Knowledge of floor, wall and roof layout and the construction process of all phases of framing a custom home.
• Able to read complicated blue prints.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Experience:
