Field Service Technician - Full Time

The Field Service Technician’s role is to assist in creating happy, loyal customers by delivering professional, high-quality services that are promised to our customers. The versatility of this role and the constant growth of the industry makes Lawn Doctor an ideal place to begin or grow your career!

The majority of services we provide require our Field Service Technicians to be licensed applicators through the state of MA. Although a plus, applicants are not required to hold an existing applicators license, which makes this opening a great fit for candidates with all levels of experience! The opportunity for training, coordination and cost of the exam (up to two attempts) is covered by us upon hire for this position.

Requirements

Must Haves:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (3 or more years of driving experience preferred)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., push spreaders, pull hoses, etc.
• Reliability and positive attitude

Nice to Haves (but not required!):

• Knowledge in lawn care, plant health, or pest control
• MA Pesticide Applicators License (eligible for signing bonus!)
• Mechanically inclined
• Strong time management skills
• Familiarity operating a service schedule via mobile device/tablet

Work Schedule

Full time position Monday-Friday. Opportunities for overtime. Some Saturdays will be required during busy seasons (Spring & Fall).

Compensation

Starting hourly rate ranges from $18.00-$28.00 per hour and is determined by skills, experience and licensing.

The position qualifies for department incentives, monthly production bonuses, and a lucrative end of year bonus.

$1,500.00 signing bonus offered to new hires that hold an active MA Pesticide Applicators License.
