Lawn Service Manager manages the daily activities of workers engaged in pruning trees and shrubs, cultivating lawns, and applying pesticides and other chemicals according to service contract specifications. Develops and implements policies and procedures for the unit. Being a Lawn Service Manager may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Generally manages a group of nonexempt employees. Additionally, Lawn Service Manager relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a senior manager. We Offer Year Round Pay! Full time year round position - No lay off in winter - Guarantee of 30 hours paid per week in winter (to support yourself/family)!
Pay: $15-22 per hour, based on years of experience and skills .
Experience: 1 years prior professional lawn care experience highly preferred.
THE RIGHT PERSON: Hard working, willing to do what it takes to get the job done, will work quickly to get daily schedule of work done with quality (25-35 lawns a day with 3 man team), lives in the Barboursville to Dunbar area for shorter drive to work, likes to work outside, attention to details (STRIPING LAWNS, STRING TRIMMING, MULCH, AND SOD ARE DETAILED WORK).
What You Will Do:
- Lawn Maintenance (Mowing and Trimming).
- Landscaping Refresh Projects (Trimming Hedges and Mulch).
- Sod Installation, Aeration, Fall Cleanups.
- Maintain clean professional appearance & positive attitude.
- Work with safety top of mind.
Schedule:
- BASE HOURS: Monday through Thursday 7:45am to 6pm. ( 3 Day Weekends! )
- Fridays and Saturdays are required makeup days if it rains during the week to complete the full schedule of work.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License (REQUIRED).
- Reliable Transportation. (REQUIRED)
- Clean Driving Record Past 3 years. (PREFERRED)
- Ability to pass drug test and background check. (REQUIRED)
