Lawn Service Manager manages the daily activities of workers engaged in pruning trees and shrubs, cultivating lawns, and applying pesticides and other chemicals according to service contract specifications. Develops and implements policies and procedures for the unit. Being a Lawn Service Manager may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Generally manages a group of nonexempt employees. Additionally, Lawn Service Manager relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a senior manager. THE POSITION:
- Lawn technicians are responsible for driving company trucks to customers' properties and applying fertilizer, weed control, and insecticide treatments to the lawn.
- Technicians identify problems in the lawn, answer customer questions, and solve problems that may arise.
- Technicians are expected to communicate effectively with office staff and Stewarts certified arborists concerning customers' needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Be prepared to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Provide friendly customer service and answer customers' questions.
