Lawn Service Manager manages the daily activities of workers engaged in pruning trees and shrubs, cultivating lawns, and applying pesticides and other chemicals according to service contract specifications. Develops and implements policies and procedures for the unit. Being a Lawn Service Manager may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Generally manages a group of nonexempt employees. Additionally, Lawn Service Manager relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a senior manager. Skinkis Lawn & Landscape is looking for a Lawn Care Maintenance Crew Member or Crew Leader (Experience preferred but not necessary).
Duties and Requirements:
-Lawn mowing and working without supervision.
-Operation of commercial mowers, line trimmers, pruning equipment.
-Some lawn installations and landscape projects as assigned
-Performing Spring and Fall Cleanups
-Snow Removal (Shoveling, Snow blowing, and Plowing)
Should be a career minded individual who is self motivated, and has ability to perform tasks without constant supervision. Interest in being a Crew Leader or becoming a leader and running own crew within 1 or 2 years.
-Must have a valid Driver's License
-Overtime may be required at company's discretion
-Weekdays and weekends may also be required at company's discretion due to work load, weather conditions and deadlines.
