Assigns and reviews the work of laundry employees engaged in receiving, washing, ironing, packaging and delivering laundry to various departments or guests. Being a Laundry Manager may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a hotel manager. The Laundry Manager supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. We take pride in offering a clean, safe and enjoyable environment where dirty garments and linens are cleaned. Our company provides a friendly and diverse team-based environment where engagement, collaboration and integrity are rewarded.
The Laundry Center Attendant role reports into the laundry service department and has the overall responsibility of customer service, cleaning and processing wash-dry-fold orders. This role reports to the Laundry Center Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support, cleaning and wash-dry-fold service
- Receive, investigate and disposition customer complaints
- Ensure the laundromat remains clean and safe
- Maintain focused productivity and high quality while processing wash-dry-fold service
- Clean laundromat equipment, premises and grounds
- Forward potential new customers to the sales department
Qualifications:
- General understanding of customer service
- High attention to detail while cleaning
- Able to work 5-20 hours a week during operating hours
- Able to work on Saturdays and Sundays
- Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly
- Good communication skills
