Laundry Manager manages the daily operations of a laundry services department. Assigns and reviews the work of laundry employees engaged in receiving, washing, ironing, packaging and delivering laundry to various departments or guests. Being a Laundry Manager may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a hotel manager. The Laundry Manager supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Our wash and fold services give hours of time to our customers by processing the laundry for the customer so they can work or focus on family. Pay
$13 per hour tips and bonuses (after 1 month training period)
Schedule: Schedule varies week to week, store hours are 7am to 9pm.
Job Duties
· Collecting and counting coins from washers and dryers, returning change to customers, and keeping track of the number of loads run
· Operating washing machines and dryers to ensure they are cleaned thoroughly
· Maintaining cleanliness of the Laundromat by wiping down machines and vacuuming floors
· Folding and stacking laundry after it has been washed and dried
· Ensuring that all machines are in good working order and ready for use
· Helping customers load and unload washing machines and dryers, as well as providing them with detergent, fabric softener, and other supplies as needed
· Keeping inventory of supplies and equipment needed for operation, ordering new supplies as needed
· Checking items for stains or damage before putting them in the washer or dryer
· Handling customer complaints about broken machines or other problems with the service provided by the Laundromat
Schedule
This is a part time position with movement into fulltime. Nights and weekends will be on a rotation basis. Opening and closing shifts will vary. Extended overtime hours for peak season will be required.
Education and Experience
This is an entry level position, our team is growing, we are expanding our commercial customer and we are opening up new branches. If you want a career in retail management, this is a great starting position for you! A high school diploma or GED is required and NO EXPERIENCE is necessary.
