Duties:
- Remove clothing, garments and linens from customer’s laundry bags and load them into a wash cycle according to the customer’s specific wash preferences and add-ons
- Transfer soiled clothing, garments, and linens from washer to dryer and dry according to specific customer preferences
- Remove clothing, garments, and linens from dryer and professionally fold and stack them to be bagged in a neat and organized fashion
- Professionally bag folded laundry in each customer’s specific laundry bag
- Learn and effectively use our software and technology to manage each customer’s laundry order and communicate with our pickup and delivery drivers
- Inspect laundry visually and report any issues to the supervisor
- Ensure all laundry and cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the supervisor
Skills:
- Experience with dry cleaning and laundering techniques
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their care requirements
- Ability to operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment
- Attention to detail to ensure proper sorting, folding, and packaging of laundry items
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient workflow
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis
Additional Information:
- This position is in a laundromat, so previous experience in a laundromat or cleaning facility is preferred.
