Overview

Working with our Installation team, the Installer primary responsibility is to effectively install commercial laundry equipment to internal and external clients while following quality standard policies and procedures.

You will be scheduled to support the team with commercial washers / dryer equipment at businesses, such as fitness facilities, hospitals, motels, schools, government regulated facilities, etc.

You should be adaptable, self-motivated, have exceptional customer service skills, and a willingness to participate.

Responsibilities :

• Perform the functions of equipment, installation, start-up, operation, and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction following company standards, techniques, and safety requirements.
• Provides general customer service functions by performing accurate diagnosis, providing findings, recommendations, and instruction to clients on the usage of commercial laundry equipment following the installation and testing of parts and equipment.
• Expected to write accurate reporting to summarize work performed
• Collaborates with disassemble of equipment and parts / equipment for maintenance or repair.
• Expected to provide inventory on their assigned company vehicle and produce proper reporting of company expenses.
• Position requires travel in a company vehicle to customer locations to perform on-site installations. This may include multiple day installations where an overnight stay may be required.
• Effectively communicate top level escalations to Installation Supervisor and contributes to best practices and process improvement.
• Other tasks and responsibilities required are to maintain efficient department operations.

Qualifications :

High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Knowledge of single-phase / three-phase electric power equipment preferred.
• Basic hand tool and power tool knowledge preferred.

Standard And Physical Requirements :

• Position involves sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, bending, climbing, and manual dexterity.
• Position requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs. frequently. For greater weight items assistive devices will be provided.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.

Certifications / Licenses :

Must have a valid Driver License. A company vehicle may be provided.

Ability to meet insurance underwriting requirements by having a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
