Laundry Manager - Healthcare jobs in Modesto, CA
Laundry Manager - Healthcare manages the daily operations of a laundry services department for a healthcare facility. Assigns and reviews the work of a laundry employees engaged in receiving, washing, ironing, packaging and delivering laundry to various departments. Being a Laundry Manager - Healthcare may require a high school diploma or its equivalent or in a related area. Typically reports to a director. The Laundry Manager - Healthcare supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. What You’ll Do:
Performs tasks to ensure a safe, comfortable and sanitary environment for all residents, staff and visitors according to established policies and procedures
Maintains a continuous flow of linen and resident clothing as needed
Attends meetings and in-services as required
Reports problems and needs to the supervisor in a timely manner
Maintains written records and documents of services performed according to Federal, State and Corporate requirements.
Appreciates the importance of maintaining confidentiality of resident and facility information.
Demonstrates honesty and integrity at all times in the care and use of resident and facility property.
