Job Summary:
Under the directions of the Linen Distribution Manager, stocks, counts, and distributes supplies, linens, and equipment. Fills supply points per par levels for all assigned hospital areas, distributing to the assigned areas; serves as a liaison in the resolution of related concerns.

Job Specific Responsibilities:
1. Perform physical inventory of supplies, equipment, and linen products stored in clinical areas utilizing a method of tracking for input of data. Delivers supplies, equipment, and linen products to clinical areas as required.
2. Logs are to be entered on daily schedule on Control Tex.
3. Ongoing review of inventory levels and coordinates changes in levels with Linen Distribution Manager.
4. Follow up on discrepancies as needed to assure accurate processing of linen. Assume responsibility for task.
5. Stores linen articles in bins, or shelves according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material. Rotate stock as assigned.
6. Responds to routine or stat requests for supply. Maintain appropriate documentation for requests. Fills out linen log per standard operating procedure.
7. Maintains current knowledge of applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
8. Verifies, accepts, and distributes clean linen products.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
10. Handles, labels, and transports all incoming supplies from the receiving dock as required.
11. Performs any other duty as assigned by department manager.
