Landscape Architect Manager supervises all related activities of a staff of landscape architects and technicians. Oversees, manages, and schedules the development of exterior spaces and physical environments, the development of schematic designs and construction details, and is ultimately responsible for final project. Being a Landscape Architect Manager requires a bachelor's degree in a related field. Typically reports to a top management. The Landscape Architect Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Landscape Architect Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Summary
     The Facilities Management Administrator is a hands-on, part-time to full-time position with day-to-day duties that include managing equipment, inventory, materials and supporting field crew to ensure high-quality and efficient projects for our clients.

     Salary: $22-28 per hour depending on education and experience 

     Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities

    • Maintains the LLI property and yard material through communication, organization, and proactive actions.
    • Delivers all needed equipment and materials to job sites.
    • Responsible for yard safety, security, and organization.
    • Manages inventory for all yard materials and reports needs to Lead mechanic.
    • Coordinates with mechanics to ensure completion of regular and preventative maintenance and repairs to trucks within the fleet on a timely basis.
    • Reports observations of Drivers to ensure adherence and proper driving practices and Policies to Lead Mechanic.
    • Ensures staff compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements including daily Key drop and vehicle inspection and maintenance regulations.
    • Work with mechanics and crews to improve traffic flow on property.
    • Participates during snow events as needed.
    • Assist the mechanic as needed.
    • Assist with other duties as assigned.

    Education: 

    • High school degree or equivalent required.
    • Degree from a vocational school preferred.

    Experience: 

    • 1-3 years’ experience in repairs and maintenance of vehicles and equipment required.
    • 1-3 years landscape installation experience required.

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. The employee is frequently required to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces, move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another, communicate with others to exchange information, repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers, operate machinery and/or power tools, operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment, and assess the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
    • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds or more and should do so in a sound and safe manner. The employee is frequently required to talk, hear, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and move objects up to 20 pounds.  This job's specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
