Who we are:
Landscape Alaska has been the go to business in Juneau for landscape design, installation, and maintenance for 30 years. Known for a high quality of work and expertise regarding which plants survive and which plants thrive in Southeast Alaska, our small family business has worked on landscapes as high profile as the State Library Archives & Museum project and the Capitol Building in downtown Juneau, to as specific and tailored as personal raised vegetable gardens. There isn’t a neighborhood in Juneau where you won’t find our work on display.
The Position:
We are looking to hire laborers to work as part of our crew maintaining and installing landscapes throughout Juneau and Douglas. Working closely with the landscape architect and owner, Margaret Tharp, and horticulturist, David Lendrum, our crew transports plants, planting materials, tools, and landscape care machines such as lawn mowers and weed whackers from our business on back loop road to properties all over the Juneau-Douglas area to install, clean, and maintain those properties. We work in all of the weather that Southeast has to offer, from heavy rain to hot sunshine, carrying, lifting, digging, pushing, and pulling light to heavy loads as a team. Landscape Alaska, in particular, is known for detailed work maintaining the aesthetics of a completed landscape, keeping our work tidy and organized.
