Ensures the staff performs project research, boundary calculations, and records accuracy of survey data, notes, and sketches. Being a Land Surveyors Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Land Surveyors Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Qualifications :
Licensed to practice surveying in Louisiana or possess a Land Surveyor In Training (LSIT) certificate and will be eligible to take the professional exam in two years.
Strong background in determining property boundaries, topographic surveying, and AutoCAD experience desirable.
Enjoy working outdoors and be able to work in all types of weather.
Have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
Proficient in the operation of Trimble GNSS, conventional, and robotic equipment.
Job Duties :
Conduct construction layout, site topography surveys, and property boundary surveying.
Process survey data using Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.
Collaborate with a team to ensure the production of high-quality surveying work.
Demonstrate leadership potential, strong communication and people skills, and self-motivation.
