Ensures compliance to all applicable regulations and requirements including boundary calculations and legal issues. Being a Land Surveyors Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Land Surveyors Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. The Land Surveyors Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Our Professional Land Surveyor / Project Manager position requires a broad range of skills necessary to support public, private and energy clients, as well as to provide support to projects for internal BSC staff. This position requires experience supervising land title surveys, topographic/existing condition surveys, boundary surveys and land subdivision work. Project management and business development skills highly desirable. Familiarity with a wide array of surveying technology is preferred, including 3D laser scanning, drone / sUAS, modeling software and Civil3D.
Job requirements include:
