Land Surveyors Manager manages and coordinates surveys and investigations of land surfaces. Ensures compliance to all applicable regulations and requirements including boundary calculations and legal issues. Being a Land Surveyors Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Land Surveyors Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. The Land Surveyors Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Land Surveyors Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Primary Responsibilities:
    Demonstrating a strong general knowledge of Land Surveying practices. 
    Operating AutoCAD Civil 3D and using Microsoft Office applications, including Word & Excel. 
    Preparing boundary surveys, easement sketches, and various other types of surveys. 
    Interpreting and creating utility as-builts. 
    Conducting detailed research at the town, county, and state levels. 
    Reading, plotting, and locating land descriptions related to easements and parcels of land. 
    Reviewing Title documents and Table A (ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys) items and applying them to the survey. 
    Collaborating effectively with the Surveyor to ensure job completion meets company standards. 
    Receiving compensation commensurate with knowledge and ability. 
     
    Position Requirements: 
    Must hold a valid Florida Professional Land Surveyors (PLS) or Professional Surveyors & Mappers 
    (PSM) License (REQUIRED). 
    Punctuality and responsibility are essential traits for this role. 
    A valid driver's license is required. 
    Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime and 
    occasional weekend work. 
    Proficiency in operating electronic survey equipment. 
    Candidates must be willing to undergo a mandatory drug test. 
    Minimum of 5 years of relevant surveying experience. 
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
    Detail-oriented with a strong ability to maintain precision in survey work. 
    Ability to take direction and contribute to the growth of the company. 
    High School Diploma or GED is required. 
    Proven work history, a strong work ethic, and a team-player attitude are highly valued.
