Duties:
- Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries and collect data for mapping purposes.
- Use surveying instruments, such as total stations and GPS receivers, to measure distances, angles, and topography elevations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate field notes, sketches, maps, and reports.
- Analyze survey data using computer software, such as ArcGIS and GIS (Geographic Information System).
- Build and maintain survey control networks.
- Assist in the preparation of legal descriptions and land survey plats.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide accurate survey data for project planning and design.
-Construction stake out for building envelopes.
Skills:
- Mut be a Registered Land Surveyor with, at least, 5 years experience as a Land Surveyor
-CAD Drafting knowledge is a plus for this position.
- Proficient in the use of land surveying instruments and equipment.
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret survey data accurately.
- Experience with ArcGIS or other GIS software for data management and mapping.
- Knowledge of robotic total stations for efficient field work.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and legal documents.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
