Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine property boundaries, prepare maps and reports, and provide accurate data for construction projects. Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys using various tools and equipment, such as GPS, total stations, and levels
- Prepare and maintain accurate field notes, sketches, maps, and legal descriptions
- Analyze survey data and perform calculations to establish property boundaries
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide accurate survey information for project planning and design
- Assist in the preparation of survey reports, drawings, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Maintain survey equipment in proper working condition
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, MicroStation, Trigonometry, Schematics, Revit, Algebra, GPS, GIS, Civil 3D
- Strong mathematical skills with a solid understanding of geometry and trigonometry
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations
- Ability to interpret legal descriptions and survey records
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
