West River Mental Health is accepting applications for a Recovery Support Supervisor with our Full Circle program. This position provides guidance, training, and supervision to Recovery Support Educators to ensure that the Full Circle residential program runs efficiently and effectively on a day to day basis for the pregnant women and/or mothers in need of treatment and their children. Staff members have the opportunity to work in a collaborative setting and positively influence clients while providing a safe, confidential environment. (BFOQ Female)

Education and Experience

Two years’ experience in working in the substance abuse field or residential treatment center and supervising staff.  Associates Degree in Human services or high school diploma or equivalent work experience in human services or group residential setting.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

1. General knowledge of substance use issues or willingness to develop an understanding.
2. Knowledge of and skill in teaching basis life skills.
3. Ability to interact professionally with clients and both internal and external customers.
4. Ability to work successfully as part of a team to include demonstrating respect and collaboration. 
5. Ability to listen effectively, remain calm, and set boundaries.
6. Ability to maintain a South Dakota driver’s license, vehicle liability insurance, and safely operate a vehicle in all weather conditions.
7. Ability to respond to clients by phone and face to face in emergency situations.
