Position Summary: The IT-Business Analyst-QA manages and tests any new or previously deployed development within Westcor’s Internal Production software. The IT-Business Analyst-QA will ensure that any new development will be deployed with quality and that it meets client’s expectations

Essential Functions:

• Entering tickets in Westcor’s internal tracking system from written requirements for development
• Identify and track bugs within current platforms
• Provide status reports to management of testing progress in the current development cycle
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers on bugs and enhancements
• Conduct testing on recently developed items in a test environment
• Manage regression testing documentation for future releases
• Participate and provide support for software deployment
• Complete tasks required by I.T. management when required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-2 years of directly related experience

Competencies:

• Analytical skills
• Data management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to define parameters to meet business requirements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Physical Demands:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
• Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop or bend for an extended period (8 hours)
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 5 lbs
• Must be able to listen and speak clearly over the phone
