Land Administrator jobs in New Jersey

PENNINGTON BOROUGH. FULL TIME. The Land Use Administrator will advise property owners, developers, and other interested persons in the practices and procedures of the Planning and Zoning Board and the Historic Preservation Commission. Certification and experience preferred. Will consider applicants without certification provided candidate successfully obtains certification within one year of hire. The Land Use Administrator will maintain the records of the boards, including calendar, agendas, minutes and legal publications. Render assistance to appellants or applicants desiring to submit appeals or applications for development so as to inform them of all submission requirements. Determine the completeness of all applications for development and give all notices or certifications pertaining thereto as required by law. The Administrative Assistant portion of the position requires that the applicant be able to perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, phone support, assisting residents, and mailing correspondence. This position will provide support to office personnel including the Technical Assistant to Construction, the Borough Clerk and Borough Administrator.
