We’re looking for an amazing maintenance professional to fill this role, which is based in our Juneau office. You’ll be responsible for playing a pivotal role within the Maintenance team, ensuring the proper parts are in stock, and preventive maintenance of our fleet is tracked and scheduled. They are directly responsible for ensuring timely and accurate accounting processes within the department to include processing payments to vendors and performing month end accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily and monthly financial tracking, processing, and reporting of maintenance dept.
• Creates work orders & purchase orders.
• Orders, schedules delivery, or picks up parts from various vendors.
• Stocks parts and organizes parts room and storage areas.
• Monitors physical parts and shop supply inventories.
• Track, schedule, and coordinate preventative maintenance of our assets.
• Maintains maintenance vehicle records files.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience with Warehousing/store keeping methods and procedures
• Experience with Inventory control methods and procedures
• Proficient in the use of computer business applications with working knowledge of computerized inventory systems.
• Must have a valid drivers license with a driving record that meets company standards.
• General knowledge of maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals
• Ability to communicate, coordinate and collaborate with management and staff.
• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America Line/Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

Abilities, Knowledge and Skills:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
• Requires regular movement throughout PCL and HAL facilities.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds.
• May need to stand for long periods of time.
