Land Administration Manager manages the proper receiving, recording, documentation, and dissemination of all land agreements and land contracts. Serves as a liaison to the land department and customers to ensure proper interpretation of land agreements and contracts. Being a Land Administration Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Land Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Land Administration Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • As a Land Administration Manager, you will work with our industry-leading land acquisition team to manage the Land Contract Management System, provide administrative leadership, administer legal functions related to land contracts, and perform other land acquisition support related activities.  Your ability to demonstrate an understanding of land contracts and the variation in terms from contract to contract will make you successful! 

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Manage all administrative functions regarding land acquisition contracts and milestones.
    • Coordinate seller acquisition closings with Ryan Homes and developer counsel, corporate office and seller's agent.
    • Coordinate and complete contract amendments with outside legal counsel.
    • Coordinate Phase I Environmental assessments and ensure insurance standards are met, that remediation actions are properly documented.
    • Make recommendations for amending contract language for consistency with changing standards.
    • Facilitate the flow of information, resolve issues and monitor timely performance of law firms.
    • Assist developers with contracts, Deeds, HOA documentation, and filing of re-zoning and condominium applications.

    Qualifications

    • 2-4 years successful contract administration experience
    • Associate or Bachelors degree
    • Real Estate para-legal experience
    • Homebuilding industry experience, a plus
