Based in our Mahwah, New Jersey Headquarters, the Sales Planning Manager will lead the team responsible for retail demand forecasting, wholesale forecasting, accessories, and short to long-term planning for all Jaguar and Land Rover models. This role is critical as supply/demand management is a crucial part of JLRs go-to-market strategy. This role reports into the Director, Sales Operations.
What you will be doing:

Managing the team responsible for the development and maintenance of the U.S. JLR current year production, retail, and wholesale by model, engine, model year and trim. Forecast, with accuracy, the current month retail & wholesale projections as well as update the fiscal year outlook on a monthly basis.

Ensuring robust analysis of monthly production allocation, working closely with Global Supply to ensure model allocations are in line with seasonality, optimized demand, and profitability.

Measuring and reporting monthly tempo and sales funnel KPI's in collaboration with marketing to identify risks and opportunities at a market and nameplate level.

Proactively managing mix and volumes by providing insights to the senior leadership team and global supply team to make adjustments to align to demand.
- Overseeing ongoing Export activity within North America. Possess a thorough understanding of both retailer operations as well as retailer sales policy and procedures.
- Leading the monthly product mix review to identify engine and trim level risk and opportunities, maximize profitability, and drive production decisions.

Leading the accessories strategy and own the revenue and profitability targets.

Serving as the subject matter expert as it relates to JLR nameplates, knowing the different models, mixes, and features associated with each product offer.

What you will need:

Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or equivalent work experience;

Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience;
-
Superior analytical skills and technical skills, ability to use Excel and Tableau at a high-level.
- 7 years experience
-
5 years automotive experience is a plus;

5 years Leadership Experience

Field experience is a plus.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills;

Must have strong business acumen and judgment, with the confidence to contribute effectively when operating at the highest level within JLR; and

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, and must be comfortable presenting to all levels of management;

Must have strong business acumen, and the ability to work with people at varying levels with the organization and network;
Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)
Recruitment Salary Range: $107,500 - 150,000
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position".
