Position Summary: The Director of Clinical Services is a licensed clinician (Registered Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Licensed Master-Level Social Worker (LMSW), or Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)) who has graduated from an accredited institution and is licensed to practice in the state of Michigan. She/he is responsible for supervising and managing home health services provided to homebound patients in accordance with physician orders and plans of care. The Director of Clinical Services is a clinical leader who oversees all clinical staff and manages patients under the Oakland Home Care and Oakland Therapy branches. The Director of Clinical Services will have a passion for providing the highest quality of care in order to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Oakland Home Care’s primary goal is to put patient’s first. We work closely with many assisted living and independent living communities to ensure that we can provide care timely, efficiently, and with the kindness and care that all patients deserve. The Director of Clinical Services is not a treating role, however all staff may be asked to jump in when necessary to help make sure our patients are taken care of. The Director of Clinical Services role is a leader to the clinical staff, office staff, and also out in the community. It is important that she/he work to build and maintain relationships within the communities we serve.
