Laboratory Services Director manages the daily activities of the laboratory. Develops laboratory policies and procedures and issues updates as needed. Being a Laboratory Services Director plans and designs experiments. Estimates the time and resources needed to complete projects. Additionally, Laboratory Services Director orders and inspects materials and equipment and maintains detailed and accurate inventory of lab supplies. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Laboratory Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Laboratory Services Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Job Summary:

    The Clinical Laboratory Assistant is responsible for Phlebotomy, Specimen processing, and the performance of limited laboratory testing.  

    Essential Qualifications: Must be BLS certified or willing to be certified.  A minimum of one year of experience as a phlebotomist is preferred, but training will be provided for individuals that do not have prior experience. High School Graduate or equivalent GED preferred.  Proficient in computer software and ability to learn software quickly.
