Laboratory Manager manages the daily activities of the laboratory. Develops laboratory policies and procedures and issues updates as needed. Being a Laboratory Manager plans and designs experiments. Estimates the time and resources needed to complete projects. Additionally, Laboratory Manager orders and inspects materials and equipment and maintains detailed and accurate inventory of lab supplies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Laboratory Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Clinical Laboratory has an opening for a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) or equivalent to join our histology team.
Duties include: embedding, microtomy, chemical and reagent management, special stains and IHC procedures.
Certification: Preferred a certified HT or HTL. If you meet Minimum requirements (below) we will train the right candidate in a clinical setting.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT NEEDED:
60 Semester hours of academic credit from a regionally accredited college university with A COMBINATION of 12 total Semester Hours in Biology AND Chemistry.
