Additionally, Laboratory Manager orders and inspects materials and equipment and maintains detailed and accurate inventory of lab supplies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Laboratory Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Is looking to add an enthusiastic team player to our fast - paced, growing pathology company, as a Lab Assistant/Hospital Tech. The hours for this position are variable, usually 7:30a-4:00p in rotation through the hospitals and 10:30a-7:00p in rotation through our main lab.
As a Lab Assistant/Hospital Tech you will work closely with Pathologists and hospital staff to provide exceptional care to patients through assisting with processing and preparation of surgical and cytology specimens.
