Laboratory Information Systems Coordinator coordinates, develops, and maintains the scope and performance of laboratory information systems projects. Maintains project documentation by formulating and implementing policies and procedures. Being a Laboratory Information Systems Coordinator maintains and updates the system. MLT 2-year associate degree is fine. The tech will only be performing Roche HA1c and RPRAIX1000 instrumentation, will be looking heavier more on years of experience rather than education. At least 1 to 2 years of experience. MT/MLS graduate that would be a bonus
Job Description:
- Set up, adjust, maintain, and clean medical laboratory equipment.
- Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices.
- Analyze, gather, and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs, and narratives.
- Obtain specimens, cultivating, isolating, and identifying microorganisms for analysis.
- May examine cells stained with dye to locate abnormalities.
- Consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found.

- Basic ability to work independently and manage.
- Basic knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries and diseases.
- Basic ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in medical technology or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience is required.
- Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements.
