Core: Evaluate request for quotes (RFQ) coming from Sales and Marketing to determine cost and lead time associated with the potential sales orders. Quicky return quotes back to regional sales contacts via SAP, as well as facilitate handoff off quotes to operational procurement team.
Secondary: Investigate opportunities to improve quoting process speed as well as drive cost savings initiatives. Become cross trained as an operational buyer to enable a flexible supply chain workforce.
