We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR Team. This position partners with our regional HR Generalists and Operations team in all employee relatons matters.
This is a hybrid position. You will be expected to work in the office 3 days a week.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to managers and employees in relation to conduct, performance, accountability, and complaint and grievances.
- Conduct thoughtful, thorough, and objective investigations of complaints brought forward by employees; prepare investigation summaries and resolution letters, make recommendations to upper management.
- Prepare corrective action and performance improvement documents.
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the employee experience and mitigate risk.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to travel on occasion.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field
- 2 years HR experience with a focus in Employee Relations
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational, conflict management, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of Google suite, Excel and other MS Office programs, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
