The ALRB exercises jurisdiction over approximately 800,000 farmworkers and employers, providing collective bargaining rights to farmworkers that were specifically exempted from the coverageof the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) in 1935. The California Agricultural Labor Relations Board was created in 1975 to ensure peace in the fields of California by guaranteeing justice for all agricultural workers and stability in agricultural labor relations. Headquartered in downtown Sacramento with regional offices throughout the state, ALRB employees are committed to, and guided by, the principles of the Agricultural Labor Relations Act, to “encourage and protect the rights of agricultural employees to full freedom of association, self-organization ... and to be free from interference, restraint, or coercion” (Labor Code § 1140.2).

If you thrive in a challenging, highly rewarding and team-oriented environment, and share a passion for our mission, values and commitment to our stakeholder community, this might be the career opportunity you have been seeking.
