The Labor Finders team in ALEXANDRIA is looking to recruit an experienced Asphalt Plant Manager for a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY in Ouachita Parish.

Job Summary: ​ Manages all Plant Operations with overall responsibilities for safety, production, maintenance, quality and other production related activities. The Plant Manager ensures compliance with all standards, policies, and regulations for safe, environmentally-sound production of a quality product.

• Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, plus full benefits (details below)

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Must be proficient with computers; data entry and retrieval.
• Experience with asphalt plant operations.
• Physical stamina to maintain activities for long periods of time.
• Must have a valid Louisiana driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• E-Verify will be used for employment authorization purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance of asphalt plant, plant employees, production and distribution of product.
• Communicates with appropriate personnel to discuss schedule and production needs.
• Ensures the plant is operating in accordance with the law.
• Ensures quality of the product and collaborates with quality control manager.
• Takes measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and crew performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures; performs necessary maintenance on plant equipment. Coordinates all needed repairs with plant team.
• Knowledge of Safety Hazards and necessary precautions to sufficiently be able to maintain a safe work environment.
• Hires and provides direction, training, and assistance to the plant crew.
• Maintains and implements all required policies.
• Additional related duties.
