Analyzes LAN/WAN and recommends upgrades/changes and security procedures and policies; assesses organization's current and future LAN/WAN needs. Being a LAN/WAN Integrator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The LAN/WAN Integrator typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a LAN/WAN Integrator typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Job Description

    The Integrator is the person who is the tie-breaker for the Leadership Team, is the glue for the department, holds everything together, beats the drum (provides cadence), is accountable for the P&L results, executes the business plan, holds the Leadership Team accountable, and is the steady force in the department.

    The Integrator also creates organizational clarity, communication, and consistency; typically (but not always) operates more on logic; drives results; forces resolution, focus, team unity, prioritization and follow-through; is the filter for all of the Visionary’s ideas; harmoniously integrates the Leadership Team, and helps to remove obstacles and barriers.


    • LMA (Leadership Management = Accountability) is caring about your people and being a Great Boss.
      • Leadership is made up of 4 things: Working “On” the business, thinking “On” the business (Clarity Breaks), Providing Clear Direction to your reports, and Creating opportunities for you reports to succeed. Ensure quarterly conversations are taking place.
      • Management is 4 things: Working “In” the business, Setting Clear expectations for your reports, Communication well so that expectations are clear both ways (yours and theirs) and Executing well. 
      • Accountability is not something you can “do”, it is the byproduct of great leadership and management.
    • Finish and bring projects (rocks) to a close. Often the Visionary has a lot of good ideas and spends their time and energy looking into the future. It's your job to filter the ideas and complete projects.
    • Establish and own Profit & Loss results for the Electrical Department. A thorough understanding and active management is critical to the success of the department.
    • Build and Maintain an Operating Budget for the department to ensure profitability. Build and Maintain a Capital Outlay budget for asset management that enables department growth and works within the constraints of the overall company cash & debt strategies. 
    • Remove all barriers that prevent the Electrical Department or Employees from doing their jobs safely and efficiently.
    • Seamlessly integrate all Sales, Operations, and Finance functions of the department. Collaborate across all Sentry Departments and Central Services to ensure that priorities and business objectives remain in balance with customer needs, the sales backlog, and the overall Sentry Vision.
    • Be the voice of the Electrical Department through effective communication to your team. Own and manage the Electrical & Controls VTO, Accountability Chart, Scorecard, and other EOS tools.
    • Ensure that the core processes are developed and followed by all (FBA). Examples: Project Management Core Processes, Safety Procedures, Jobs Processes, Feedback Process, etc.
