LAN/WAN Integrator is responsible for the overall plan, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of LAN/WAN integration into the network. Analyzes LAN/WAN and recommends upgrades/changes and security procedures and policies; assesses organization's current and future LAN/WAN needs. Being a LAN/WAN Integrator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The LAN/WAN Integrator typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a LAN/WAN Integrator typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Job Description:
Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, has an immediate opening for a Counter- small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) Capabilities Integrator. The successful candidate will provide expertise and advice to support the Joint C-sUAS Office (JCO) Requirements and Capabilities Division Chief, JCO Director, and other senior Joint and Army leaders concerning related analytic efforts regarding C-sUAS to include Electronic Warfare, Sensors, C-sUAS Weapons, and emerging technologies. They will assist in developing, synchronizing, and integrating DoD C-sUAS capabilities into the Joint Force. The successful candidate will have the ability to support development of a diverse portfolio of systems across the Combatant Commands, Military Services and Federal agencies to facilitate understanding and effectively relay complex issues to decision-makers. The candidate will demonstrate the utmost professionalism, be able to work independently and collaboratively to develop recommendations and solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Understanding of the Counter-UAS mission and its supporting technologies.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Adept at presenting technical concepts to Senior Leaders.
- Understanding of the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC), Combatant Command Integrated Priority List (IPL) and associated processes.
- Document solutions for capability interoperability performance and issues.
- Conduct analysis to develop recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of interoperability of existing capabilities.
- Consult with multiple program managers, system development teams, Military Services, and Federal Agencies to develop consensus and provide a solution to address a common issue.
- Prior military and related C-sUAS experience is desired.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Current security clearance (TS/SCI eligible)
- This position will be onsite with the customer in Arlington, VA however some required travel is anticipated.
