LAN Support supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN. Recommends and schedules repairs. Being a LAN Support provides end users support for all LAN- based applications. Installs and configures workstations. Additionally, LAN Support may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. The LAN Support work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Experience: Prior direct care experience preferred, but no t required.
Education: High School diploma/equivalent preferred.
Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to lift, push and/or pull a minimum of 50 pounds, stand for periods of time, bend, push wheelchairs and provide physical interventions on a regular basis. Noise level may vary, depending upon duty assigned.
Due to the potential intimate nature of care and physical proximity involved with some of those receiving HCBS funded I/DD services through Disability Supports, and in order to promote a safe work environment for both the caregiver and those for whom we care, you may, from time-to-time, be required to wear PPE, (Personal Protective Equipment).
