  • Work Schedule: Generally, Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm schedule with one hour for lunch. Extended and On Call status for nights and weekends is required as needed. On call one Saturday per month.

    Job Summary: Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software during Help Desk calls for the best customer service experience for our Clients and guests. Respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions. Adhering to a schedule that helps to keep downtime of productive business hours to a minimum.

    Classification: Full-time hourly position with non-exempt status.

    Location: Moore, OK

    Travel: Travel to surrounding businesses or service area is required depending on Client needs. Periodic travel regionally will be required.

    *ON CALL STATUS: Shared among technicians for weekend and evening hours IS required.

    Compensation: $18.00-26.00 per hour worked.

    Supervision Received: Reports to Operations Manager

    Required Essential Functions:

    • Report regularly to the Manager of Company
    • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
    • Calls Clients or Customers to report on the most up to date status of computers left for repair or diagnosis as needed
    • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone
    • Respond to email messages for needed assistance
    • Ask questions to determine the nature of the problem or issue
    • Walk the client/customer through problem-solving process with steps
    • Determine the root of problem and assist with a solution in a timely manner
    • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
    • Clean up computers both physical & applications
    • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems
    • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems
    • Install computer peripherals for users
    • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved
    • Gain feedback from client/customer to ensure issue has been resolved
    • Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur
    • Gain feedback from customers about computer usage
    • Support employees who work at home or in other remote locations. Train end users when necessary
    • Able to document billable tech time in a timely manner
    • Any other projects requested to undertake from time to time
    • Adhere to all business policies and procedures
    • All other duties as requested

    Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior RECENT knowledge in IT (Computer Technology) is required – 2 years (may be educational or on the job experience). Please note that the company currently does not provide relocation assistance and only resumes submitted with meeting the skills, experience, and educational background will be considered, all others are rejected.

    Physical Requirements: Sitting for up to 2 hours at a time, able to lift up to 20 pounds freely, may require work on hands and knees. A valid driver's license is required for travel regarding Client needs. A vehicle is required for local travel. A background check will be required prior to employment.

    Minimum Required Skills, Experience and Certifications:

    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Help Desk role
    • Experience with troubleshooting technical problems with Microsoft Windows based PC’s and laptops, network printers, mobile devices and other office equipment
    • Interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
    • Team player, adaptable, and flexible
    • Maintain a professional image
    • Must be Dependable and Punctual creating a strong team environment
    • Must be comfortable following standardized troubleshooting guidelines
    • Valid Driver’s License for travel to Client location as necessary.
