2024-2025 Third Grade Math Teacher

  • Job description

Mission Achievement and Success Charter School (MAS), located in Albuquerque, N.M., is actively seeking Elementary Teachers who want to make a difference in the lives of students at our “A” rated charter school.

If you have a desire to teach traditionally under-served students and provide equity through a high-quality education, we believe our team of administrators and fellow educators at our two Albuquerque campuses offer the characteristics and opportunities you seek. Our grade levels range from per-kindergarten to 12th grade at our “Yale” campus, and from Pre-K to 9th grade at our “Old Coors” site — a brand new campus featuring state-of-the-art resources, scheduled to open August 2023.

While our strong preference is to fill open teaching positions with individuals who are currently licensed teachers in New Mexico or any other state, we will also consider candidates who have earned bachelor’s degrees in any area and are sincerely interested in reengaging youth in their own education through exceptional teaching.

Here at MAS, we have been focused on serving traditionally ignored communities by making college a reality since 2012. Our mission — to empower students to discover who they are, what they want to do, and why it matters by delivering a rigorous college preparatory program in a supportive and engaging learning environment — is supported by many notable organizations and philanthropists, including Mackenzie Scott, the Yass Foundation for Education, and the Albuquerque Community Foundation. One hundred percent of the students who enroll in MAS graduate from our rigorous college preparatory program, while more than 90 percent of are expected to become first-generation college students.

If our mission appeals to you, please reach out to schedule an interview. We look forward to your partnership in reengaging and serving students in their own education.
